EL CORONAVIRUS AFECTA EVENTOS MUSICALES

                             

Después de que la OMS ( Organización Mundial de la Salud) declarara al Covid -19 (Coronavirus) como pandemia mundial, varios eventos musicales sufrieron afectaciones entre ellos el VIVE LATINO ya que sufrió su primera cancelación.

La banda estadounidense She Wants Revenge decidió cancelar las presentaciones programadas en  Guadalajara, Monterrey y, por supuesto, en el VIVE LATINO que se realizará en la Ciudad de México. Esto, en declaraciones de la banda, debido al panorama mundial que se esta viviendo actualmente gracias al Coronavirus.

Otros eventos que se vieron afectados alrededor del mundo fueron:

Alejandro Sanz 

El cantante español iba a realizar un concierto en Colombia, en el Movistar Arena este 12 de marzo por su tour "La gira", pero anunció, por medio de su cuenta de Twitter, que el evento se pospondría.

Me da mucha tristeza comunicarles que el concierto de Bogotá ha sido pospuesto por seguridad sanitaria. Esto pasará, pero debemos hacer caso a las recomendaciones... cuando se pueda yo vuelvo y les canto con to, no importa cuando sea. Os quiero con el alma. 😞

El festival de Coachella.

Se anuncio que el festival se pospondría hasta los fines de semana del 9 y 16 de octubre por temor a que haya una expansión de coronavirus. Los organizadores esperan conservar el mismo cartel.

Mediante un comunicado en Instagram, la banda británica canceló su gira por Reino Unido, a poco de presentarse en Manchester.

After serious consideration, it is with much regret that THE WHO have postponed their UK tour, due to start next Monday March 16th in Manchester at the Manchester Arena and finishing at Wembley SSE Arena on April 8th. The fans' safety is paramount and given the developing Coronavirus situation, the band felt that they had no option but to postpone the shows. The dates will be rescheduled for later in the year. All tickets will be honoured. Singer Roger Daltrey assures fans that the shows will "definitely happen and it may be the last time we do a tour of this type, so keep those tickets, as the shows will be fantastic.” Pete Townshend said the band, ”haven't reached this decision easily, but given the concerns about public gatherings, we couldn’t go ahead.” He added that “if one fan caught Coronavirus at a WHO concert it would be one too many.” Unfortunately, THE WHO will also be unable to appear at the Royal Albert Hall on March 28th as part of the annual Teenage Cancer Trust shows, but intend to reschedule that show also, with more news to follow. Tambien artistas como Pearl Jam, Madonna y Santana así como la Orquesta Sinfonica de Boston han tenido que aplazar o cancelar conciertos a causa del Covid-19.

Nuestro país se encuentra en fase 1 de alerta contra esta enfermedad, pero aun estamos en riesgo de pasar a fase 2, es por ello que escuelas y trabajos están creando protocolos por si se deben suspender clases y actividades laborales.
